The database collects the fruits of the research work conducted on periodicals and on other paper materials editorially referable to the year hinge examined by the PRIN. Available for consultation are, therefore, articles, reports, schedules (palinsesti), essays or, in some cases, entire issues of journals and fascicles relating to the project theme.
The scans of the documents – produced with OCR technology and metadata – are available in PDF format and searchable within their contents. The records for the scans include the following data: title, author, year, issue, date, pages, bibliographic level, keywords, people, audiovisual works, textual works, characters, events, entities, forms and techniques, brands and products, source.
The contents are organized into collections referring to the examined titles and can be consulted individually by accessing the specific collection, or by entering a generic word in the dedicated “search” bar.
In compliance with copyright law and the agreements made with the archives and libraries consulted that allowed access to the materials and their scanning, the database is not public. Anyone interested in accessing it and consulting it must submit a request to receive access credentials by writing to: vicenzo.altobelli@uniroma3.it and matteo.santandrea@uniroma3.it
